BURN2 Beginning the Experience [Post 1 from this camper]
is an extension of theBurning Man festivaland community into the world of Second Life.
It is anofficially sanctioned Burning Man regional event,
the only virtual world eventout of more than 100 real world Regional groups,
andthe only Regional to burn the Man!
I applied for a juried plot at the Burning Man in world back in July 2015, I was surprised and excited that this wonderful world event occurs in world. On September 2, 2015, I learned I was selected for a juried plot, I began visiting la playa [the desert] every day. I met people there, explored the empty spaces, and used the community sandbox. A couple weeks later we had our plots and I have been spending almost every moment there, learning, creating, building on la playa.
La playa is Spanish for "the beach", and although it isn't a beach, rather a desert, it conjures the same images of the beach with the laid back feeling. Here are a couple of sites you might want to visit to learn more about Burning Man:

Before I tell you about the builds that people are creating I want to tell you the magic of the experience, the part that the visitors will not see when it opens on October 17...
The 'BURNER Camp Builders' are serious about their experience. Many participants also participate in the real life version of Burning Man. There are artists of music, sculpting, creating, and those who aren't sure where they fit in the spectrum. All here fit, and it is absolutely magic. Many Campers are now on site and busy compiling, creating, tearing down, changing, and going around la playa. Here are some of the camp sites...and a work pic...enjoy...
Notice this Camper has laid out pickles and donuts on the table [ :)]. A tile is out of the box off to the side...it is all in the deets......
Trucks bringing in installations dot the landscape here...
The center of activity is the Big Top Circus Tent...at a rare quiet moment I take pictures inside...
**Pictures have TOTAL Prims of 48 [8 for my macbook], special pictures of poses at dining room table, a couple not all**
I now own the Piano, Limitless Living Room, Infinite Bedroom [Adult], Queen Anne Dining Room [for 2]; and my amazing 500+ 'EVERYTHING-YOU-NEED-TO-DECORATE-YOUR-HOM’ For the 1 prim alone this a true value, yet these pieces offer so much more in positions, role play, colors…NO POSE BALLS...there is furniture around for much less and much more, these pieces are worth the money. and....wait for it....there is more....CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS!!! I had a problem with the pieces that was purely LL or my fault, yet Snow Angel [assistant designer] tp to my home, reviewed the furniture, patiently walking me through a few steps, we even went to a sandbox and she told me it was the permissions on my home. I traded up with LL and all works fine again. There are a lot of products out there, some good some not but FEW offer this level of customer service. I am now own all I want A…
